BBC Sport Reveals Details of Hamilton and Leclerc’s Ferrari Contracts
The British outlet BBC Sport has shared new information regarding the contract durations of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc with Ferrari.
According to journalist Andrew Benson, Hamilton has signed a three-year deal that will run through the end of 2027. During an interview in Brazil, Lewis appeared to indirectly confirm this information. When asked about the timing of new contract negotiations, he replied:
“I have quite a long-term contract. Usually, discussions start about a year before the current one expires, and I’m not thinking about that yet.”When asked if that meant talks would begin next year, Hamilton simply answered: “No.”
As for Leclerc, sources indicate that his contract with Ferrari extends until 2029, although the agreement may include clauses allowing for an earlier exit.
With these deals in place, Scuderia Ferrari has secured a long-term star lineup combining Hamilton’s experience and titles with Leclerc’s youth and speed.
